The very name of this Trust has an interesting story tracing back to about 13 years when a group of 25 friends on regular morning walks at Saibaba Colony, discovered they all shared a common attitude... to help the needy and make a positive difference in the society. “We began, by doing social service activities in the neighborhood. The experience of the joy of giving and the positive difference we made in the lives of the community at large, urged us to take it to the next level to reach out to more people. Thus, Attitude Charitable Trust was founded in 2009 and registered under the Indian Trust Act,& heralding our journey of Friendship and Service. The Trust is approved under section 80G of Income Tax Act since 2015.
Nelson Mandela’s words “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” made a profound impact on our minds. Looking around, we could find many students dropping out of school and unable to pursue higher education due to financial constraints. We believe that literacy is a fundamental human right fully essential to social and human development and its ability to transform lives. Education, especially higher education, builds competence in our people and provides the basis for a better quality of life. Attitude Charitable Trust identifies such students, scrutinizes their financial conditions and after ensuring that they truly hail from a poor background, helps in funding their higher education. Starting with a mere 4 students, we have, over the years, been able to help over 5,200 needy students.
We are supporting a tribal school at Doomanur in Anaikatti. We provide books, stationery, uniform,
play equipment apart from classroom furniture, storing cabinets,and sewing machines. We have
constructed toilets & provided Borewell along with the support of Mold Masters India. We have also
conducted free Eye Camp at the school along with ESSILOR INDIA & SHANKARA EYE HOSPITAL.
We have provided hygiene products and solar water heater and also donated a computer room for a
girl’s orphanage home in Bommanampalayam housing about 100 girls.
We have also conducted a Job fair for the differently-skilled in association with Employment
Exchange.
We also do tree planting projects and distribute free buttermilk during summer time every year.
We have opened up libraries in four Corporation schools in the city in colloboration with ‘Arc Foundation India’. In an effort to provide the students an environment that inspires them to learn and gain knowledge. We have also named these libraries in memory of our Late President, Dr.Kalam.

Yearly around 1,200 students are beneficted by this project costing over Rs.90 Lakhs per annum.

VANNAMALARGAL a special project adding colors to the life of special children is yet an another flagship Project of Attitude Trust launched in 2018 for Differently able children.
A special well equipped facility is given to special children for better development using modern techniques, physiotherapy, speech and hearing therapy, music & Computers to explore their true potential. We refurbish a Day Care Center to train the special children on Self Care & Hygienic Activities and Basic Literacy with the help of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA ABHIYAN SCHEME, Department of School Education, Coimbatore. This makes the whole family more comfortable and gives New Ray of Hope to the parents and the beneficiaries.
This center is in Goundampalayam and nearly 50 special children get benefitted with infrastructural developments worth over Rs. 10 Lakhs.

Viruksha is a fest held once in 2 years, to bring together the past and present student beneficiaries
and celebrate the many successful years of our Attitude Trust.
Last year, as we celebrate Viruksha 2017 on the 1st of July, we rejoice the path of our journey so
far, having completed 9 eventful years! Here, students get to hear from learned men of wisdom and
entrepreneurs, about the profound value of education and its impact on the lives of people.
Along with big hearted philanthropists like Mold Masters Milacron,& well wishers , we will continue
to improve the material, social, and spiritual welfare of underprivileged children, focusing on the
aspects of education to make their world, a better place to live in.
