The Project Palliative Care and Care of Terminally ILL patients, is proposed by Dr.P.GUHAN, Director, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Oncology and Research, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore.
The study on incurable patients affected by Cancer, are more vulnerable to anxiety, depression and pain.They need Psychological Care along with Medical/ Paramedical and Physiotheraphy Support.
Especially among under privileged families, they feel burden to their family.
So inorder to relieve the burdens on family, strengthen relationships with loved ones and to avoid inappropriate prolongation of the dying process, we in Attitude Charitable Trust are highly concerned about the terminally ill patients and this year we have setup TWO Palliative Care Centres in Coimbatore by name ‘the GUARDIAN’
One at Sri Ramakrishna Rural Health Centre,
Pachapalayam.
Perur main road, Coimbatore
AND second at
KMCH Medical College Hospital,
Avinashi Road, Coimbatore
We focus on treatment that enhances comfort and improves the quality of life of those patients.
Thanks to Sri Ramakrishna Hospital & KMCH for giving us an opportunity to join hands with them to run our’ the GUARDIAN’ project & Serve the community above Self .

We believe, There is a life after cancer..
We believe dying is a process,
not an illness ..
This initiative is a joint project of Attitude Charitable Trust, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Meridian along with Sri Ramakrishna Hospital and KMCH,Coimbatore.
This could reach some 250-300 beneficiaries and could give relief to nearly 300 families per year.
Apart from this, we plan to organise cancer awareness and screening camps and create awareness that
Cancer is Preventable,
Cancer is Curable and
Cancer is not Contagious.
We are working for a program uniquely designed to meet the needs of the whole family at each stage of the cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
"Attitude" is looking for philanthropists and companies with CSR to join handswith and reach this project to all rural areas and make a difference in the lives of people affected by Cancer.
